[ popcorn ] Yep, fine thanks Stephan, quakes in the north Island are now getting closer to where I am. John maybe a little worried as they are closing in on him, I think he is right on a fault line near the sea. There is a fault line with hot springs last just a couple of K ' s from me but we are well inland and have only had small ones in the last 40 years. There have been a few more quakes in the 5.2 to 5.4 range that are causing concern as the cracks in the ground are opening up more . Over 100 thousand homes or buildings with damage ranging from a crack in the chimney to collapse totally. Thanks so much for your concern.Ken ..
They had a 5.1 quake just before 8 this morning and it was a really strong sharp one that put power out again. I see there was one out near Fiji so the Pacific plate is sure on the move...Ken..
The quakes are still rattling the buildings as well as nerves, a 4.5 yesterday and a 4.6 this morning. There is still quite a few each day at around 3 in Magnitude. Even the north island is getting some. We may need to brush up on the Australian language as I think NZ is moving closer,lol.....Ken..
There was a 5.6 quake about 40 mins from here last night, never felt it because it was very deep but still getting closer. We may have to brush up on the Australian lingo because I think we are getting closer with each shake,lol...Ken..
