I have had this idea for Years, and when finally got a old 1/35 locomotive, I begun at once.
One big turntable where all enginepowered operation are done from one drivewheel. The winches, and turning the table. Still there are only three levers, one lock plug(not mounted yet), and of course the valves(Yet not mounted).
I'm not agree with my self about supports for the truck yet, but there must be some. Either as heavy weight that the truck are chained to, or legs. If legs, I must find a way to mount them to the frame. If I choose supports, I must make a trailer, and a clever way to lift them from that, and onto the ground with out needing to swing the turntable to much. Either way this is not a crane for thight places, but more like a homemade farm, or oilfield crane.
